Exertis Launches North American Business Unit Focused on Next Generation Enterprise Solutions

AMHERST, NEW YORK, April 20, 2021 — Reinforcing its commitment to offer customers a series of next-generation specialist business units laser focused on specific markets, Exertis today announced the launch of Exertis Enterprise, a North American business unit focused exclusively on meeting the evolving needs of today’s enterprise customers.  The new unit will be led by Vice President of Enterprise Mark Stratford, who joins the company from sister enterprise unit Exertis Hammer in the UK.

“The world of information technology in all of its forms is changing dramatically, posing new challenges to end-user customers and creating new opportunities for MIS resellers and traditional IT integrators,” today said Exertis Enterprise President & CEO Kevin Kelly.  “But the traditional approach to serving these enterprise customers no longer works.  Customers need innovative technologies, flexible solutions and deep market knowledge that are separate and distinct from what a commercial AV distributor can offer.”

Exertis Launches North American Business Unit Focused on Next Generation Enterprise SolutionsAccording to Kelly, Exertis Enterprise draws upon the global enterprise experience of DCC technology to create a true 21st Century specialist enterprise distribution partner.  From storage to servers to networking, Exertis Enterprise offers a complete end-to-end solutions portfolio – branded to white box, entry-level to enterprise, off-the-shelf to customized, or anywhere in between. The unit’s ability to offer the entire enterprise data center stack, featuring world-class vendors across components, servers, storage, enterprise networking, security, and professional services, is unmatched.

Specific services include application performance, artificial Intelligence, backup, recovery & archiving, big data, business continuity, cloud computing, convergence and hyperconvergence, data management, database management, high performance computing, industrial-grade solutions, security, storage consolidation, VDI deployment and virtualization.

“Our portfolio of vendors utilizes the latest market disruptive technologies across, software defined storage, Big Data, AI and application aware platforms,” Mark Stratford stressed. “And every solution and service we offer is backed by a team of solution experts that has the knowledge and understanding of delivering a best-in-class end to end solution today’s enterprise customers need.  I am excited to lead this very important new business unit of the company.”

The launch of Exertis Enterprise in North America is the third specialist business unit introduced by Exertis over the last three months.  It joins Exertis ProAV and Exertis Mobile Living in offering specialist distribution consulting, system design and sales, and after sale training and ongoing support.
